Project
Title : title: colombia: violence, democracy and human rights

abstract
This book is the result of a compilation of works and conferences that
Estanislao Zuleta wrote and gave about different aspects of Colombian society
during the last three years of his life (1987-1990) when he was working for
the United Nations in the Ministry of Rights. Humans of the Presidency of the
Republic. Some previous conferences and documents that were included are
also part of the book, since they focus on human rights and violence that
contribute significantly to the general content of the book.
This edition also includes an important document: the conference given to
the M-19 guerrillas in the demobilization process, in the peace camp of Santo
Domingo, Cauca, in May 1989.
This is the rescue of a work originally published in 1992, today uncountable
and absolutely relevant for the current moment in the country.
Why read it?
It is one of the books that best summarizes the history of Colombia marked by
violence and poor compliance with human rights. It is important to know our
history, since as the famous phrase indicates "whoever does not know their
history is condemned to repeat it", I invite you to read the book and learn a
little more about our reality.
