BS-PSYCHOLOGY(blk2)

Globalization means the speedup of movements and exchanges (of human

beings, goods, and services, capital, technologies or cultural practices) all over the
planet. One of the effects of globalization is that it promotes and increases interactions
between different regions and populations around the globe. In the aspect of
experiencing globalization I must say that I’ve experienced it through technological
globalization where I or mostly us is experiencing it right now where we commonly use
our cellphones and computer for our online class. Technology helped us during this time
of pandemic where we still can’t and must not interact with each other physically during
class hour. The advancement of technology helped us through our study yet the
connectivity still sucks. Another experience is that through culture, by stanning a KPop
idol where mostly the fans are fond of Korean culture. Culture is important to us but it is
evident nowadays that we’ve been conquered by other cultures.
Globalization is crucially uneven in the aspect of our own cultures. We tend to go
on what’s the trend nowadays, we are more fond of idolizing Western and Korean
cultures. It is uneven in a way that our own culture is dying out of trend. Globalization
creates accelerated growth. Science proves, the richer we get the more uneven the
distribution. Powerful countries benefits more than those in third world countries. This
can mean that only those rich people will stay on top while using the poor for their own
benefits. Globalism, at its core, seeks to describe and explain nothing more than a world
which is characterized by networks of connections that span multi-continental distances.
In contrast, globalization refers to the increase or decline in the degree of globalism.
