Create Batch Search Strategy – Condition

Definition:-

Condition Technique contains the condition table and access

sequence.

Condition table holds the table and field reference combination to

which the records are to be searched during batch search.

Access sequence contains the instruction to the system to access the

tables in a predefined sequence.

The above settings are done in Configuration. The data in the

condition table are to be maintained as a part of master data. It is
called condition record.

Objective

Recollect the configuration of condition table CO01. Let us try to lear

how to maintain the condition record to that condition table.

Prerequisites:-

Condition Table.

Double click COB1 – Create

Enter Strategy type as CO01.

Maintain the following data

N-Number of Batch split
Changes allowed Check box
Dialog Batch determination
Display UOM
Quantity proposal
Over Delivery allowed
Selection Criteria
Component code number. E.g
3823303 is the component to a
header material.
Number of batches that can be
allowed to meet the required
quantity. E.g 999.
Tick mark indicates changes can
be done during the batch search.
During batch determination value
to the characteristics can be
changed in a dialog mode.
Unit Of Measure (UOM) in which
the result is to be displayed. E.g
enter B.
Method to propose the batch
quantity. E.g Enter 3.
Tick in this check box indicates,
during the batch search, excess
quantity is allowed .
Selection of batch according to the
selection criteria maintained. E.g
Entry 0 indicates, no selection
criteria. However during batch
search it can be altered.

Note:- The above values are appearing here picking the data from
configuration. However it can be changed here.

Now let’s assign the selection criteria according to which the batch
search should be done.

Select the material by click left side grey box

Enter the class on which search is to be done.

If any class is maintained in the configuration “Batch search strategy

type” that class will appear here as a default. Since in our setting,
there is no class maintained at configuration level, we have to
maintain here.

Let’s go back to maintaining the class in the search criteria.

Enter the class name as FOOD_PRODUCT
