1. Which market country should Genicom choose?

The market country to which Genicom should choose is Brazil because it has important
resources in raw materials, a large reserve in the labor force at educational levels, a
large domestic market and a diversified economy.

The country of Brazil provides investment opportunities, according to which the rate of
Brazilian products is cheaper for foreign buyers.

According to reading the country, population growth is rapid, and with good government
commitment to expand access to market growth.

The Brazilian government promotes and favors Foreign Direct Investment (FDI); the
obstacles that companies had to the activity of foreign investment were eliminated. Apart
from the National Investment Bank (BNDES), it stimulates foreign investment, in 2013
Bank disbursements increased by 22%, reaching BRL 190 billion, making it one of the
largest development banks in the world.

Brazil has great potential for Genicom to expand its market due to its favorable position
with the government, the population and the incentives that the country has to invest in
the Brazilian market.

2. Is it possible that none of the 4 countries was a good option Genicom?

The best option and as I mentioned in the first point, the country of Brazil has many
opportunities for Genicom to focus on that single market and not in the 4 countries at the
time, since Brazil has a large population which is considered strong consumers and help
of the government in some tax cuts, launching a Logistics Investment Program (PIL) to
attract investors in order to develop infrastructure.

Brazil's investment regime is a liberal regime since it allows foreign investors to have a
greater participation in the creation and expansion of development of their own company.

3. Is it appropriate that Genicom do not choose any of the 4 emerging markets (Brazil,

Russia, India and China) and decide to go to closest markets like Germany? Explain your
answer?

Germany is a very attractive country for any company that wants to enter the market, but
has a weakness has declined by the global recession, companies that want to enter the
German market are consistently high, and 40% of foreign entrepreneurs plan to enter the
market to expand its presence in Germany.

But even so Germany is one of the top three countries to enter the market according to
an interview with 500 executives of international companies. [ CITATION DWR \l 3082 ].

Genicom first that everything should be dedicated to an emerging country like Brazil is
due to the conditions that Brazil has and the facility that it has to enter the market with
great aid from the government.

But if it decides to enter the German market, it has many benefits that country, in spite of
the worldwide restraint that it had as it is:

- A position in the heart of Europe

- The largest population in the European Union
- Technology and innovation
- Competitiveness
- Well-developed infrastructure.
