• Practice Meta Tags for websites.
• Generate Meta Tags of websites.
Problem Statement

Scenario:
Do you remember that one website, which you used in hands-on exercise 1? Consider the homepage of
that website and identify the Meta Tags (Title Tag and Description Tag). Find out total number of
characters of Title Tag and Description Tag with the help of SEO Mofo Tool
(https://seomofo.com/snippet-optimizer.html), as discussed in Topic No. 60. Generate your own Title and
Description Tag with the help of SEOBook Tool (http://tools.seobook.com/meta-medic/). You are
required to create a MS Word document in which you will add the screenshot of identified Title and
Description Tag, screenshot of Title and Description Tag’s total number of characters in SEO Mofo Tool
and screenshot of your own generated Meta Tags.

Tasks:
1. Use website that you had selected in Hands-On Exercise 1.
2. Consider Homepage of the selected website.
3. Identify the Title Tag and Description Tag of the selected webpage.
4. Find out the total number of characters for Title and Description Tag by using SEO Mofo Tool.
5. Generate your own Title and Description Tag by using SEOBook Tool.
6. Take screenshots of identified tags, total number of characters and your own generated Title,
Description Tag.

NOTE:
1. You can choose a new website for this Hands-on Exercise, if the instructions provided are not
applicable on the website you selected in the Hands-On Exercise 1.
2. This Hands-On Exercise will be evaluated based on the procedures and steps that you would follow
during the exercise.
3. Insert the snapshots/screenshots that you have taken.

How to submit solution of exercise on LMS?
