1. Why we need to know/identify the potential risk of an event?

- Risk identification can allow us to create a comprehensive understanding that can be leveraged
to influence stakeholders and create better project decisions. Good risk identification creates
good project communication and good communication creates good decisions.

2. What is the positive risk of an event? Give example other than stated in the slide.
- Positive risks are event which have a positive impact on event’s objectives. For example, there is
more demand of attendance for the products sales after event than planned for; therefore,
need to store more products to overcome the situation happen.

3. Imagine that you want to organize an indoor concert event located at Dewan Muadzam Shah,
UUM. Please identify 4 the potential risk of the event.
- The performer of concert may unable to come due to some personal problem.
- The hall may suddenly face the power cut or black out that influence the progress of concert
- Bad behaved audience may occur to make trouble to bring the wrong memory for the
audiences.
- The product prepare for sell may insufficiency if the demand of the audience is exceeding the
expectation.
