Assessment 1 – Report

a. Evaluating yourself as a role model. (5 marks)

As a role model I am professional and innovational worker who leads youth employee and have
a bit more experience than them. But older employees are still better than me in professionalism
but innovational personality and behavior can beat them in the future. Likewise, I am so
confident that I can lead groups and individuals by model and follow strategies and systems
appropriately, I am a reasonable and fair worker who is congenial enough.
b. Identifying ways in which you can improve your own skills and knowledge, including
your requirements to listen and question others involved. (5 marks)
I can improve my skills by taking few steps and ways which are:
 Earning more experience in the workplace
 Being more punctuality and organizing job duties appropriately
 Gaining academic knowledge by reading books and attending workshops

c. Developing personal work goals (give an example of a goal), plans and activities to
reflect your organization’s goals. (5 marks)
Personal goal and organization goal are needed to work out together. By this matter, I would
keep up with myself being better than yesterday.
Personal work goals are:
 Getting promotion
 Learning Japanese /Because this is the language that most of our company`s workers
mother tongue and we have so many customers who can speak this language
 Attending university for a master degree as MBA /our company is IT and financial group
so this skill must be essential/
 Develop innovation forum for our employees

d. Measuring your performance against workplace contexts and contingencies. (5 marks)

A way to measure my performance against my work place contexts is to choose climate the jobs
I complete are that of what was anticipated from me part of my expected set of responsibilities or
climate I go well beyond what my work place setting is demonstrating that preparation and
experience has implied that I am presently a vastly improved worker. I can quantify this by
execution examinations with my manager which is one model. I could likewise gauge it on a
boost in compensation or advancement as I would know then that I am performing great. The
possibility is realizing that there is an elective method to do my activity if something stops the
ordinary way.
 e. Give an example of competing demands in your workplace and how you prioritize them
(5 marks)
As within the world we live today, everything happens very quickly, so it's normal that day to
day we face the choice of what to action first, but this could be done through the well-thought
process and not just randomly. so as words, you would like to prioritize and determine what of
the numerous things to try and do is that the one that can't wait, which of them can wait a small
amount longer and which may be done later.

f. Using appropriate technology to write this report and using an electronic diary to draw a
timeline for the development of your personal goals. (5 marks)
