STEP 1: Installing the Lock Barrel Fig. 2b Retract Key 2-3mm

A. If the Key is not already in the Lock Barrel, fully insert it into the Lock Barrel
and remove the clear plastic tubing covering the Lock Barrel. (Fig 2a)
B. Pull the Key back out of the Lock Barrel approximately 2-3mm. With the key
in this position, depress the last large Metal Wafer before fully re-inserting
the key. You may now release your finger from the metal wafer. (Fig 2b.)
Ensure that all the Metal Wafers are now contained within the cylinder of
Depress Metal Wafer and
the Lock Barrel. If they are not in this position, repeat STEP A.
push Key back into Lock Barrel.
C. Using your thumb and forefinger, insert the Key and Lock Barrel assembly
into the Lock Cavity until the Lock barrel is fully inserted. (Fig 3a.)
D. Place your finger against the face of the Lock Barrel (to prevent it from being Fig. 3a
pulled out of the Lock Cavity), then remove the key with your other hand.
If the key cannot be pulled out, then rotate the Lock slightly (with Key) and
pull on the key GENTLY until the Key can be removed. (Fig. 3b)

STEP 2: Locking the Mechanism

A. To lock, turn Lock Barrel 90° clockwise, so that the Key Slot is vertical.
To unlock, turn Lock Barrel 90° anti-clockwise to the horizontal position.
(Fig 4a).
Leave unlocked for assembly.

B. Repeat this process for the remaining
Lock Barrels.

Record Key code numbers so

replacement keys can be supplied
in case they are misplaced.
