Please prepare:

Put the 2 bowden tube collet into the cavity of the base part and put the collet cover onto
it.

Tighten the four M1.8 screws to the end.
Please prepare:
Idler gear
Needle bearing x2
Idler handle
shaft L=20mm

Insert the 2 needle bearings into the idler gear.
Slide the shaft through the idler handle and gear. Note the direction of the gear.

Disassemble the original extruder on your Ender-3/CR-10 printer.
Remove the original drive gear from the motor. Please use quality tool and proper force.

Slide the gear on the motor shaft, the grub screw must be facing against the flat part of

Please assemble the main extruder body and the handle with M3x30 screw.
Install the motor and the mini-extruder back to the mounting plate on printer. Choose a
direction of filament extrusion. Don't tighten the screw too firmly, it serves as a shaft for
the handle. Check that the handle can rotate without too much force.

Fasten the rest 3 M3x30 screws

Open the Idler handle and insert a piece of filament. Align the drive gear and tighten it

Screw the thumb screw set into the mini-extruder as shown in the picture. Don’t tighten it

You can insert one short PTFE tube in the other end of extruder to provide guidance for
the filament.

Set new E-step value. On most CR-10/Ender-3 or similar machines the value is around 93.
You can direct change it to 141. And after that don’t forget store memory.
You can set the new E-step value on LCD or print a G-Code file that only contains the
M92 E141
