80 frame motor

There are two types of motor for 80. That is

1. face mounted
2. foot mounted

Now, lets see each component one by one with is manufacturing precedence.

 Frame

There are two types of material used in frame Aluminium or Grey CI.
Both the material are ordered/manufactured from outside from casting
foundry. The aluminium is used more in 80 frames then CI. CI is only
used when they receive a special order for it.

The precedence and processes done on motor frame(body) are

 Lathe
to make spigot on one side that will help to hold frame on CNC

CNC
Here internal step is made(for locking
and end spigot is made
of stator)

Lathe
one small step is made

Drilling
9 drills are made simuntenoulsy with tapping

Tapping
tapping is done with drilling

Facing
Here leveling of foot is done
