The tournament offers the following cash prizes for the Open Category—
P25,000 (first place), P20,000 (second place), P15,000 (third place),
P10,000 (fourth place), P7,000 (fifth place), P5,000 (sixth place) and
P2,000 each (seventh to fifteenth place).
For the Kiddie Category (born 1999 or later), the prizes are P7,000 (first
place), P5,000 (second place) P3,000 (third place), P2,000 (fourth place)
and P1,000 each (fifth to tenth place).
A cash prize of P1,000 will also be awarded to each of the top three female
and top three senior (60 years old or above) players.
Pangasinan players will also receive cash prizes, which include P1,000 each
for the top three scorers and P500 each for the fourth to tenth placers.
A walk-in registration day has also been set at the Narciso Ramos Sports
and Civic Center (NRSCC) in Lingayen town on Dec. 20, from 3:00 p.m. to
8:00 p.m.
Rates for walk-in and online registrations are as follows: Open Category—
P150 (residents of Pangasinan) and P350 (non-residents of the province),
and Kiddie Category—P100 (residents of Pangasinan) and P250 (non-
residents of the province).
Registration is free for the participants of the 3rd Amado T. Espino Jr.
Chess Clinic and the Angguan tan Ehersisyo provincial sports fest.
The organizers will also accept registration on site on Dec. 21 at 8:00 a.m.
to 10:00 a.m., according to these rates, regardless of residency: Open
Category--P500, Kiddie Category—P350.
