1. Introduction
Steelmark Building Limited is one of the leading Pre-Engineered steel building manufacturers in
Bangladesh. It carries the slogan “Relation Through People and Quality” and stand out in the
industry as the “Innovator’s Brand in Pre-Engineered Building”.

Steelmark was initially established in 2003 as a part of Uttaran Structural Designers Ltd. and in
two years was re-planned in to a separate business unit under the name of Steelmark Buildings
Ltd. Steelmark group concerns areone of very few engineering companies in the country to be
founded by five civil engineers, all graduated from Bangladesh University of Engineering and

6.2 Office setup

Location: The office is situated at a commercial building in the heart of the city
Address: 17/13 Paribag (1st to 4th floor), Sonargaon Road, Dhaka 1000
Office space: Total 8000sft office space situated on four consecutive floors – full furnished with sitting
arrangement for 120 people containing separate conference room, marketing room, meeting room,
design section, detailing, procurement, audit, administrative section, accounts, commercial etc.

7.1 Location: The fabrication factory is located at industrial area of Maona, Gazipur.

7.3 Facilities: Around 170,000sft shed factory room over six acre land space with workers’ quarter, office
room, store room etc. Presently 150 workers are employed in the fabrication unit. The factory has
separate trade license obtained from the authority in the name Steelmark Buildings Limited’.
7.4 Electric Line: An independent 2 MW electric supply line is designated for the fabrication works of the
workshop.
