System Request – School Online Enrollment Project

Business Needs:
This project has been initiated to improve the admission or enrollment of student by
creating the capability of online registration from anywhere using our official website.
Business Requirements:

Using the web/internet the student will be able to register and enroll from anywhere
they’re located. The specific functionality that the system should have includes the
following:

 Search and view the offered classes or courses.

 Register and enroll to the offered classes or courses.
 Provide customer service for online inquiries.
 Provide fast transaction process.

Business Value:

We expect that the system will improve the efficiency of the work such as track the
process to make accurate projection and also eliminates paperwork saving time. It also
made the registration process faster and more convenient free up employees form boring
and repetitive task. We also expect that increased accuracy limiting human error.

Special Issues:

The marketing department views this project as strategic system. Technology has
become a basic asset for interaction because it not only saves time but also gives instants
feedback. This internet system will add value to our transaction process and it also will
serve as a proof of concept for future internet endeavors.

The system should be in place for the coming enrollment.
