1. Title: Senior Software Engineer for XYZ Solutions Ltd.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement new systems and features,
as well as modify and maintain existing systems for adaptation to business and/or technology
changes. The Senior Software Engineer engages directly with IT management, development teams,
technical delivery teams, and vendors to ensure the successful design, development, and delivery of
technology-based solutions.

Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, have a consistent track record of delivery and
excellent software engineering skills. Creative engineering balanced with high quality and a customer
focus. Must be able to work across multiple facets of the project and juggle multiple responsibilities
at the same time. Strong analytic capability and the ability to create innovative solutions. We are
looking for a highly motivated individual who is looking to grow their career in a fast-paced
environment.

Job Tasks:

 Develop high-quality software design and architecture.


 Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
 Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
 Review and debug code.
 Perform validation and verification testing.
 Mentor junior software Engineers to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice,
coaching, and training opportunities.
 Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes.
 Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management.

Job Requirements:

 Bachelor's Degree/Master Degree in Computer Science or related field.


 Minimum 8 years of programming experience.
 Broad experience designing, programming, and implementing large information systems.
 Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
 Ability to work independently

General Programming Skills, Coaching and Excellent organizational, leadership skills, Excellent

2. Since it’s a salaried job it is exempted from FLSA as the employees’ salary is vastly more than that
of non-exempt minimum wage earners. Since our employees are entitled to receive benefits such as
paid time off, healthcare coverage, and participation in retirement plans and hence this job is
exempted from FLSA.

3. Elective Benefits:

 Pension Benefits

Retirement benefits are funds set aside to provide people with an income or pension when they end
their careers. Retirement plans fit into two general categories:

I. In defined benefit plans (sometimes called pension plans), the benefit amount is pre-
determined based on salary and the years of service. In these plans, the employer bears the
risk of the investment.
II. In defined contribution plans (such as a 401k plan), employer or employee contributions are
specified, but the benefit amount is usually tied to investment returns, which are not
guaranteed

The contracted service provider for Pension is providing the benefits along with some employer
contribution added with employee’s contribution as well.

 Medical Benefits:

Medical insurance covers the costs of physician and surgeon fees, hospital rooms, and prescription
drugs. Dental and optical care might be offered as part of an overall benefits package. It may be
offered as separate pieces or not covered at all. Coverage includes the employee's family
(dependents).

The employer (our organization) is paying a part of the premium for employee medical insurance
along with employee’s some percentage of the monthly cost.

 Paid Time Off (PTO) Benefits

Paid time off (also referred to as PTO) is earned by employees while they work. The three common
types of paid time off are holidays, sick leave, and vacation leave. We are providing these benefits to
all full-time employees and part-time employees as well.
 Perks:
Perks — as in perquisites or corporate perks are additions to an employee’s salary and benefits
package. We define perks as above-and-beyond offerings that may sway our employee to value our
organisation over another. Think of them as icing on the cake
These perks include bonus, profit sharing, free meals, childcare, tuition assistance or reimbursement
for employees and/or their families, discounts on company products and services.
4. The benefits mentioned above as provided by our company are aligned keeping in mind of our
employees needs and benefits. Our competitors are only providing medical benefits of 50% till
$10,000 cap, whereas we are providing 65% till $15,000 cap as we believe that keeping good health
should be our primary concern. We are also providing pension benefits to our full-time and
permanent employees which our competitors are not providing. Our employees are a part of our
family so we ensure to take care of them even after the employment terms are over. As we are
providing paid time off benefits to both full-time and part-time employees, our competitors are only
providing that to only full-time employees and that too for only 5 days in a year. Our organisation on
the other hand is providing a 12 day in a year paid time off benefits.

This package clearly outlines that we are trying to attract someone who will be fully satisfied while
working with us. We are also trying to attract someone for whom health comes first and can be able
to maintain a healthy work-life balance with our 12 days paid time off benefits as we believe in
promoting a healthy, happy and employee-oriented work culture.

5. A specific perk which we would like to highlight is “childcare”. Our organization wants people to
come to work with fresh mind and being energetic. We believe in taking care of our employee’s
family as well and keeping our employee’s family life happy and sound will have a positive impact on
the work at office. As our employee can put undivided attention during working hours, we have
arranged childcare facilities at work for them so that we can take care of your family while you take
care of our business.
