RE : NOTICE TO EXPLAIN

In response to the multiple complaint you have received from various persons
involved, I would like to make this explanation to make it clear on my side.

First of all, I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to explain my side
through this memorandum. To start with, the complaint made by Ma’am Dianne of
EE Sales regarding the series of text and calls that I wasn’t able to answer was
unconsciously due to the reason that I haven’t saved her number on my contact list.
Frankly, I have unknowingly missed a few calls from her but it was not in my
intention of not taking a return call for I believed it was someone from a personal
matter. As for the text messages, there was only two text messages from her that I
wasn’t able to reply. That was August 10, Friday and August 15, Wednesday. Text
message from August 10 was concerning about the installation schedule of SMFI
Feedmills – Davao that was already been submitted long before this said date.
(please see attached screenshot) In my defense, I wasn’t able to check messages
on my Globe number since this is my personal number believing most of text
messages should be for personal matters. Also, as the only project engineer
assigned here in Davao, I was also pre-occupied in handling multiple projects here
in Davao that are all in critical stage of commissioning and final stages of completion
which demands all of the time.

Second, in the concern of Sir Yurkin, if I am not mistaken, and as far as my memory
recalls, since the day I was assigned here in Davao, there was only this one time
that I wasn’t able to answer his call. But right after his missed call, he immediately
called using your number which I was able to answer.

Lastly, with regards to the NCCC Mall - Buhangin and Davao Dusit Hotel raised
concerns, there are those few times that I wasn’t able to answer due to either I was
talking to someone onsite, on the other line or I was in a meeting. Furthermore, I
always make sure to make a return call once I find myself free of making calls.

I am well aware of the memo regarding unanswered calls, text and emails and I
have been trying to answer each incoming call. You can rest assured, If I won’t be
able to answer a certain call, I will be returning a call back as soon as possible. Also,
I will make sure these complaints won’t happen again in the future.

For your kind consideration and understanding.

Sincerely,

Butz Warren F. Vestal
