Telephone manners as proper communication?

Properly Respond
Properly respond to an introduction is an important business and social skill. You don't
get a second chance to make a good first impression. And you can be sure, the email
you send in response to an introduction will leave an impression. Introductions are a
common business tool. If you know someone who is acquainted with someone you
need to know, it's acceptable to ask your contact to introduce you. It's important to
know how to handle them, so you can respond with good email etiquette and make the
most of each introduction. You never know what the future holds, and one day you
may need to contact that person again. You can use it on looking for a job, explain what
type of work you do. If you are selling a product or service, explain why you think it
will be useful to your new acquaintance and leave a good impression. But if you
respond poorly, your new contact will be less than impressed. 
Telephone manner
Telephone manner implies the manners of using telephone communication including
the way you represent your business or yourself, greeting the receiver, the tone of voice,
the choice of words, listening skills, and the closure to the call, etc. Communicating with
Telephone manners always shows your professionalism. It makes the people to believe
that they are in good and safe hands. If it is for business, telephone manner builds the
trust of your potential customers. There will be satisfaction when the person get
satisfied with the telephone conversation, they are sure that their needs and
requirements will be satisfied also.
