MODEL ID & APPEARANCE

Press and hold to turn your Airtel 4G My WiFi on or Off

Press and hold to restore your 4G My WiFi to its factory settings

☆ If you forget the user name, password or SSID for your Airtel 4G My WiFi,
try restoring the device to its factory settings

Installation
WiFi Connection
The default SSID(WiFi network name)and WiFi network key are printed on the
Airtel My WiFi Label.

We strongly recommend that you change the default SSID and WiFi key to
keep your data secured.

☆ You can manage your Airtel My WiFi through the Web Interface at
http://192.168.1.1.

☆ The default username and password is admin.

☆ The default WiFi password is 1234567890.

Accessing to internet via USB cable

☆ After installation of driver(CDROM, Airtel 4G), you can access internet in


this computer(if MiFi connected with Airtel network), it can also be
accessed by Web management interface by URLhttp://192.168.1.1
☆ Logging into the Web Management page

Make sure that the connection between the Airtel My WiFiand computer is
correctly done using USB cable .

Open the browser on your device and enter http://192.168.1.1 in the address
box.

Enter your username and password to log into the web management page.

Please note: The default username /password –admin/admin.



Charging
Only use a charger that is compatible with your Airtel 4G My WiFi.

The use of an incompatible charger may cause the device to malfunction, fail,
or could even cause a fire. Such use voids all warranties, whether expressed
or implied, on this product.

☆ The charger is an optional accessory.

To buy a charger, please contact an authorized retailer.


Connecting to the Internet
Using an LTE network

The Airtel 4G My WiFi’s management parameters have been preset according


to the operator’s requirements.

The Airtel 4G My WiFi will automatically connect to the internet after power
on. You can log in to the web management page follow below steps

Log into Web Management page → Network Setting → Connection Mode

Note: If you want to change the connection mode or APN, it MUST


disconnect with the network in home page first.
Wi-Fi Sleep Mode (Battery Saving Mode)

The Wi-Fi device has a mode that allows the deviceturn off automatically if
there areno devices connected to the 4G My WiFi (via Wi-Fi or USB) for a
period of time .
- This mode allows the device to go to “ Wi-Fi Sleep ” Mode to save
battery life.

- The device can be switched back on by pressing the power button.

- The preferred timing can be set by selecting “Wi-Fi Sleep”, and


choosing the options shown below

Restoring to Factory Settings

If you forget the username, password, or SSID you have set, you can restore
the settings on the web management page to the default factory settings. To
do so, simply press and hold the RESET button until the 4G My WiFi restarts.
Changing SSID and Password

It is recommended that you change your 4G My WiFi’s SSID and password


before you use it. The default SSID and password are printed on Airtel 4G My
WiFi’s label, in the battery slot of the device.
Enable SD card sharing

* In HTTP Share Mode, the device only supports FAT/FAT32 file system.

* HTTP Share Mode: Share SD card via web browser. The removable drive
mapping of SD card via USB port will be disabled.

* USB Access Only: By the removable drive mapping, user can access SD card
*via USB cable only. The web page of sharing SD card will be disabled.
* Path to Share: You can input the sharing path, such as /Picture. By typing
only, a slash in Path to Share filed, you agree to share entire SD card.

* Path to Share can't be a dot, and can't contain following characters: <> " ' &
+ / \: * | # ? ~ `

Tips:
◇ Why isn’t Airtel 4G My WiFi responding?

Try restarting the device. If that doesn’t work, restore the device to its
factory settings.

◇ Login IP Address for the Management page is forgotten

The default login URL is http://192.168.1.1

◇ WLAN /WiFikey is Forgotten

When clients forgotten the WLAN/WiFikey, please check by below steps:

(1) Try 1234567890, it is the default WiFi key.

(2) If Cannot find the WiFi key in the back of MiFi device, open the
management web UI, click "WiFi Settings" in home page, select "Display
Password" in "WiFi Settings" page, it will show WiFi password.

◇ Why can’t I connect to my Airtel 4G My WiFi sometimes?

Check the WiFi available or not, the WiFi LED will display solid blue when
WiFi available.

If not display solid blue, it maybe enter power save mode.

To save Power, your Airtel 4G My WiFi’sWiFi auto off feature is designed


to turn off WiFi when there haven’t been connections for a while. You
can press the power button to turn on WiFi again.

Alternatively, you can disable this feature, although this might impact
battery life, Log in to the web interface and disable the WiFi auto off
feature.
◇ Why won’t my Airtel 4G My WiFi connect to a network even though all
the settings are correct?

When clients cannot access the internet properly, please check by below
steps:

(1) Check the network signal is available or not with MiFi, the network
LED will display solid green when network available. It also can be
checked in the web UI management page.

(2) Check the SIM card is overdue or not.

(3) The PIN verification feature might be enabled.You can disable this
feature if you find entering the PIN regularly inconvenient.

◇ Why can’t I access the Web Interface at 192.168.1.1 ?

This is likely due to an IP address conflict. When multiple types of


Internet connections are used simultaneously on the computer, such as
Ethernet network adapter and Wireless adapter, inserting the Airtel 4G
MiFi into the client may result in IP address conflict across multiple
networks. This issue can be fixed by disable other network connections
except "Remote NDIS"in Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network
Connections. Or you can change other network adapter's IP address in
Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections.

◇ Why won’tAirtel 4G My WiFi power on?

Your battery is probably out of power.

Charge your Airtel 4G My WiFi for a while and power it on.

Why did Airtel 4G My WiFi power off all of a sudden ?

Your Airtel 4G My WiFi may overheat when you use it continuously over
a long period of time, and thereby trigger its automated protection
system. WiFi will be turn off and your Airtel 4G My WiFi will power off if
this occurs.
Please ensure the device is properly ventilated and cooled before you
power it on again.

◇ What Can I Do If the LED That Indicate No Signals and No Service Are
Displayed?

When the network LED display red in the MiFi, it means no signal or no
service. It most possible due to network coverage is poor in current
place, please move to other place to find available network.

◇ What Can I Do If the Network Access Speed Is LOW

When the network access speed is low, it most possible due to poor
network signal or too many users connected with same MiFidevice(Airtel
4G My WiFi) . Bring the MiFi device to a good network coverage area,
reduce the connected users can improve the access speed.
