WFU BARCELONA: BUSINESS & GLOBAL STUDIES

ACADEMIC PROGRAM: FALL 2020 & SPRING 2021


• Minimum course load is 12 semester credit hours. Courses are 3 credit hours unless noted otherwise.
• Below are courses available at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). Please note that not all courses listed are
offered each semester. Final course selection depends on available courses and meeting times.
• Your final course schedule will be set during UAB’s registration period.
• Students will be able to earn 4 of the 5 required course credit for the Global Trade and Commerce Studies minor while on
this program, please speak to your advisor for details.
• Students will only be allowed to apply 6 ENT credits to their ENT minor
• Apply online at studyabroad.wfu.edu and contact the Center for Global Programs & Studies at 336.758.5938 to set up a
time to meet with the program advisor
• It is the student’s responsibility to speak to their major and minor advisor(s) regarding their abroad coursework
and how (or if) it will count towards their degree plan.

LANGUAGE COURSES

• All students must enroll in at least one course taught in Spanish or Catalan.
• Spanish levels at UAB are determined by taking an online placement exam. If you place lower than anticipated, you will
be automatically changed to Introduction to Catalan.
• 90 hour (6 credit hours) courses at UAB are equivalent to 3 credit hour courses at WFU unless otherwise noted.
