I take immense pride in recording my impression about Prithwiraj Datta. I have had the
opportunity to supervise his thesis in his last year of undergraduate life which took 8 months to
complete. This long-time interaction with him due to this dissertation work provided me sufficient
information to unearth his intellectual curiosity, clear dedication, proactive & focused nature,
positive disposition and excellent communication skills.

Prithwiraj is intelligent, inquisitive and yearns to gain an in-depth knowledge to expand the
horizons of his skills. In him, I find the commitment desirous of a good student, meticulous with
the right blend of aptitude, merit and determination. He has the terrific ability to draw on his own
experience and observations to develop thoughtful opinions on a variety of issues. His ‘never give
up’ attitude & passion towards seeking knowledge gives him a unique edge over his peers.

Prithwiraj’s skill in designing, analyzing & synthesizing any engineering model is commendable.
He designed several network models for his thesis work, analyzed the performances of some
parameters & presented them in a beautiful way in his thesis book.

Prithwiraj possesses a great leading skill which I could closely observe during his thesis. He
nicely distributed the tasks of whole project among the members according to their ability and lead
from the front until the completion of the thesis.

Prithwiraj demonstrated his oral articulateness in front of a large audience in his final defense.
There was a pin drop silence in the room as everyone was mesmerized by his presentation. He
explained everything in details & to the point. His hard work paid off when his tremendous effort
made it possible to publish the thesis article in a reputed international journal.

I strongly believe that he has the quality to pursue his higher education through GKS scholarship in
your country. According to my judgment he has research aptitude and potential to perform
