1) Where is India located? What is the length and breadth of India?
Ans: 1) India is located in the southern part of Asia.
2) It stretches for about 3,200 kilometers from Jammu and Kashmir in
the north to Kanyakumari ( Tamil Nadu) in the south, and 3,000 kilometers
from Gujarat in the west to Arunachal Pradesh in the east.
2) India shares its borders with various nations; Elaborate.
Ans: India shares its boundaries with some countries. These are the
neighbouring countries of India. To the north - west are Afghanistan and
Pakistan; to the north are China and Nepal; to the north - east lies Bhutan
and to the east are Myanmar and Bangladesh. Across the oceans, India’s
neighbours are Maldives to the south – west ; Srilanka to the south; and
Indonesia and Thailand to the south – east.
