Notice of English Proficiency Test for New Master Degree Students

1. Date:
October 31st, 2015 (Saturday morning)
Time：10:40~12:00

2.Location:
(1)Management Building2, Hong-Jing Hall, Science Building 2.
(2)Please take seat according to your department and student ID number. The Test Location
Distribution Sheet would be announced one day earlier, on October 30th, on the webpage of
Admission Division (http://pdc.adm.ncu.edu.tw/admission/) of NCU Academic Affairs office,
and also be pasted in front of those three buildings (Management Building2, Hong-Jing Hall,
Science Building 2.)
(3)The Office of this examination is located at Room I1-005 of Management Building 2.(B1)

3. Examinee:
(1) The examinees for this test are the new master degree students of each department who
enrolled in NCU in 2015.Students of In-Service Master Program and students of Industrial
Technology R&D Master Program are not included. The subject and regulations about this test
are as follows:

(2) Please inquire your department or institute about whether to take this test or not.
(3) Students entering in (or before) academic year 2014 and applied for leave of absence from the
tests or students who re-enrolled in this (2015) academic year due to suspension or status
detainment should all participate in the tests.
(4) New NCU foreign master degree students are required to take English Proficiency Test based
on the regulations of each department or institute. Students who could not meet the standard
would need to take remedial courses or learning according to each department or institute.

4. Notes:
(1) Please do bring your Student ID Card, and place it on the desk for ID confirmation.
(2) Please check the Student ID Number, Name and department on the answer sheet before
answering the question.
(3) For English test, please do bring 2B pencils and eraser for answering on a computer-detected
card. Please do not use correction tape/ white-out for correcting the answers on the computer-
 detected card.
(4) Except Student ID Card and Stationeries, cell phones and other belongings should be put in the
temporary depository.
(5) Watch, Cell phone and all the electronic devices are not allowed to make any sound, violate
will deduct 5 points on the subject.
