N 15TH STREET ?
What is Vision Zero?
Vision Zero is an approach to reducing the number of
fatal and serious injury crashes to ZERO and ensuring
safe, healthy, and equitable mobility of all. Vision Zero
is achieved through
• Low-cost engineering strategies,
• Public education strategies,
• Community-oriented law enforcement, and
• Focus on design standards.
This study is focused on improving safety on N 15th
Street from Fletcher Avenue to Fowler Avenue.
Project Information
N 15th Street from Fletcher Avenue to Fowler Avenue
is considered part of the High Injury Network (HIN)
due to the high number of fatal and injury crashes that
occurred between 2014 and 2018. The purpose of the
N 15th Street project, managed by the Metropolitan
Planning Organization (MPO) and Hillsborough
County’s Engineering and Operations Department, is
to enhance safety and mobility on N 15th Street for
everyone.
