These release notes describe version information for Kinetix 300 Multi-axis Servo Drives (2097-Vxxx), version 1.084 (released 8/2017).
System Features
This release includes the following system features.
Kinetix 300 EtherNet/IP Indexing Servo Drives, Firmware Revision 1.084 Enhancements
System Feature First Identified as of Firmware Revision 1.084
Catalog Numbers: 2097-V31PR0, 2097-V31PR2, 2097-V32PR0, 2097-V32PR2, 2097-V32PR4, 2097-V33PR1,2097-V33PR3, 2097-V33PR5, 2097-V33PR6,

Implement new PID ‘Stopping Time Limit’ feature
A new PID (Stopping Time Limit) has been implemented. When disabling the drive (in Velocity Control mode), this parameter determines the maximum
amount of time the drive allows for reaching zero speed (achieving VelocityStandstillStatus) before activating the brake engage timer.
Corrected Anomalies
This release corrects the following anomalies.
Kinetix 300 EtherNet/IP Indexing Servo Drives, Firmware Revision 1.084 Corrected Anomalies
Catalog Numbers: 2097-V31PR0, 2097-V31PR2, 2097-V32PR0, 2097-V32PR2, 2097-V32PR4, 2097-V33PR1,2097-V33PR3, 2097-V33PR5, 2097-V33PR6,
2097-V34PR3, 2097-V34PR5, 2097-V34PR6
CORRECTED: Kinetix 300 MotionView onboard software is not compatible with Java Update 131. (Lgx00197465)
CORRECTED: Actual velocity spikes during standstill. (Lgx00139367)
CORRECTED: Homing issues with Rotary Unwind Enabled. (Lgx00176402)
CORRECTED: The drive is limited to 7965 RPM (which is lower than the 8000 RPM rating) for some MP-Series™ Low Inertia (MPL) servo motors.
(Lgx00158606)
CORRECTED: The drive does not enable or enunciate a fault if an enable request is executed during brake engage timer. (Lgx00155692)
Enable and Disable functionality is modified in the following ways:
The drive will cancel an ongoing brake engage timer and re-enable if an enable signal occurs during a brake engage delay.
The drive will cancel an ongoing brake release delay timer and disable if a disable signal occurs during a brake release delay.
CORRECTED: Inverter Capacity value is not retained through a power cycle.
