Aqueous PFA 858G-112 is an addition to our liquid PFA Ruby Red 858G-116 is a reinforced midcoat using PFA

and permeation resistance. This makes the applied coating resistance in combination with a primer and topcoat,

introducing NEW Water-based NMP-free primers
special solutions Improved corrosion resistance
We are introducing a water-based NMP-free primer in black
and green colour, 459G-643 (black) and 459G-644 (green),
respectively. These two primers are compatible with PTFE-,
PFA- and FEP-based mid-and topcoat. Both products have
shown an improvement in corrosion resistance versus the
incumbent NMP-based 420G-713 coating. In Fig. 6, it is
demonstrated that the 459G-643 primer when combined
with both an FEP-based mid/topcoat and a PFA-based mid/
topcoat yields an enhanced protection against corrosion
when exposed to a standard hydrochloric acid solution.

efficient application process. The performance is the same
as the incumbent 856G-3XX when applied at the same DFT. Please ask your Chemours account manager for our partner
