Breach of contract by Grand Madrid(“MADRID”): Madrid is in breach of contract with


Kristiano Bronaldo(“BRONALDO”) by not letting him play in the first team.

Violation of UEFA Financial Fair Play (“FFP”) rules: Madrid violated the FFP rules by
stopping the salary payments to Bronaldo.

ZIDDI ZIDANE

Bronaldo is not medically fit: Bronaldo has not yet been declared medically fir and thus
according to contract he can be stopped from starting domestic games.

Bronaldo was rightfully penalised: Bronaldo went against the direction given by his coach
and stopped attending training session for which he has been rightfully penalised.

STRATEGIC WEAK POINTS

Bronaldo is not fit: Bronaldo does not has the right to claim first team spot as he has not yet
been declared medically fit.

Need for playtime: Bronaldo needs playtime to remain in form and to be considered for
transfer at Guventus.

Breached Contract: Madrid was in breach of contract as it was not giving Bronaldo first team
action as promised in contract

Breach of FPP rules: Madrid is in breach of FPP rules as under them they cannot stop
Bronaldo’s salary.

First Team Action: Bronaldo needs first team action to remain in form to be considered for
Guventus.

Smooth Transfer: Bronaldo needs to maintain relationship with Madrid to ensure smooth
transfer.

ZIDDI ZIDANE

No UEFA Sanctions: Madrid would not want any sanctions to be issued against them and
would want to continue playing in the Campions League(“UCL”).

Bronaldo to resume training: Madrid would want Bronaldo to resume training and start
playing for them as he is still on payroll and is still the best player in the world.

BEST ALTERNATIVE TO NEGOTIATED AGREEMENT (BATNA)

Should the negotiation fail, the arbitration tribunal and the UEFA Control, Ethics and
Disciplinary(“CED”) Body would rule in favour on Bronaldo, reinstating him back for first
team consideration and reinstate his salary as mentioned in the contract.

ZIDDI ZIDANE

Should the negotiation fail, the arbitration tribunal would rule in favour of Madrid and either
get him to do as instructed or pay for breach of contract.

WORST ALTERNATIVE TO NEGOTIATED AGREEMENT (WATNA)

HORGE MENDES

Should the negotiation fail, the arbitration tribunal and CED Body would rule in favour on
Madrid and he would have to pay the penalty, not get game time & risk losing the Guventus
transfer.

ZIDDI ZIDANE

Should the negotiation fail, the arbitration tribunal and the UEFA Control, Ethics and
Disciplinary Body would rule in favour of Bronaldo and Madrid would risk losing position to
play in the UCL.

ensure a smooth transfer to Guventus.

Madrid would want Bronaldo to take back the FFP complaint, return to training and stay at
