Appendix-A

(i) Assigning Risk Scores:


While assessing risk of a trade customer, each risk parameter will be measured against maximum
score of 3. Risk scores to be interpreted as follows: No risk-0, Low risk-1, Medium risk-2, High
risk-3.

Assigning uniform risk score is vital to avoid any manipulation in risk scoring. Following table
contains risk scores against risk parameters (mentioned in above mentioned model). Business
units will assign risk score accordingly while assessing trade customers’ risk.

scoring.

(v) International Charities/Embassies
