Give at least 5 values that you can get from the life of Lam-ang

The epic is indeed remarkable as it mirrors the life of our ancestors

and the roots of our culture that valued by Filipinos up to the present. The
epic shows a lot of values in life that reminds us from who we are- a proud
Filipino. The values that we get in this epic, are the value of having courage,
Lam-ang faced many life challenges that he took vengeance for his father
and was able to fight the group of Igorot to protect his tribe from possible
colonization and defeated them. And even though he grew up without
experiencing the life of having a father, Lam-ang didn’t have any grudges.
He love and value his family as he’d still searched and seek justice for his
father Don Juan, that for me is the value of being “Family-oriented” wherein
Lam-ang put importance on his family before anything else. Another is, the
value of love, Lam-ang proved that love conquers all as he tried to catch the
rarang fish and the water monster berkakan and he almost died just to show
his love for Ines Kannoyan. The love of Lam-ang for Ines reminds us that
nothing is gained without some kind of sacrifice not only in romantic love but
in general. Lam-ang had also an undying spirit, that can’t be compared to
anyone. He was able to withstand everything will life throw at him, this
made him heroic. Lam-ang is also a “man of his word”, as he fulfilled his
promise to give the family of Ines a dowry that doubles their wealth. I think
this value is very much important as they’re a reflection of your intentions
and integrity.
