Student Guidelines – SIP Project Presentation 2020

The SIP Project Presentation is an integral evaluation component of SIP and is being


organized from 7th to 11th September, 2020.
 
To help you prepare better for these presentations, you should go through the
following guidelines:
 
You will get 15 minutes for the presentations. Your presentation time will be inclusive
of power-point presentation, Q&A/Viva and feedback.
 
Your power-point presentation should not exceed more than 6 slides and must cover
the following aspects: 

1. Slide 1: Brief of the Organization where you did your SIP (Name, industry,
products/ services, annual turnover, geographical spread, industry standing,
industry prospects, major competitors);
2. Slide 2: Project description: Explain the problem or the key challenge explored as
part of the project, explain why was the project critical to the organization;
3. Slide 3: Research methodology; How you approached the data collection
4. Slide 4-5: Data analysis, conclusion & recommendation;
5. Slide 6: Learning accrued to you during SIP; discuss your gain in terms of new
knowledge, skills and attitude. 

You will be evaluated for your presentation skills and responsiveness. These will
include:

 Ability to give your presentation in a Logical sequence and elaboration of content;


 Delivery of content with confidence, good articulation and body language;
 Relevance of the information provided;
 Meaningful conclusion/summarization of findings;
 Ability to answer questions posed by the panel;
 Good time management in completing the presentation in the given time.
