First 3D colour X rays

Summary/Precis: The traditional x rays machines are able to give a
clear picture of the bones and the tumours
where the soft tissues appear in grey colour and
the bones which are blocking the x rays appear
white on the film.
But with this updated version of 3D colour x rays,
the details of the bones and other parts of the
body can be provided with much clarity and
details.
This first 3D colour x ray on a human have been
performed by the New Zealand scientists. This
technique has promised to improve the medical
diagnosis as it helps in producing the clear and
accurate pictures of the human body.
This CERN technology consists of a chip known as
medipix which can work just like a camera. It can
count as well as detect the sub-atomic particles
when they collide with the pixels at the time its
electronic shutter is open. This technique further
allows to take high contrast pictures with high
resolution.
With the combination of the algorithms with the
chip’s spectroscopic information, 3D colour
images were created by MARS scientists. Such
images have the capability to clearly distinguish
between the disease, water, and fat markers.
Why I found this interesting: I have found this innovation amazing it can help
the doctors in explaining about their health
condition in detail.

How this links to the course: It definitely links to my course as it is a

completely new innovation in the field of medical
science which I have learnt today and my course
is also about innovations.

Sided fli phone
It is a triangular shaped phone which can rest on
a flat surface easily. Every side of the phone is
connected by steel mesh links which enable to
snap It apart. It can change from one shape to
another. This phone can pop out like a tent or a
person can fold it like a book.
This unique phone sets it apart from other types
of phone. This phone adds value to the user by
making the experience amazing and exciting.
The three screens are designed and can be used
based on what they user wants to do. These days
people use phones not only for the
communication but also for other things such as
the things which we do on laptop, however,
there are still some boundaries on what can be
done on a phone.
A lot more productive and creative things can be
done by the user as it has the ability to expand
the content on the multiple screens or on a
separate screen.
The interesting things is its three screens on one
phone and the ability turn into anything as per
the mood of the user.
This is an innovation which can be either used by
the students, in office or other users. It is an
amazing innovation done by the scientists.
