CONVERSATION
Once upon a time there were three friends named Mia, May, and Yeng. May asked Yeng for a favor since
Mia's birthday is about to come soon.

May went outside to call yeng

Ring!! Ring !! ring !!

Yeng answered

While on the phone

May: hello, Yeng are you going to come here tomorrow?

Yeng: hmm. why?

May: It's Mia's birthday on Saturday. We are going to surprise her. Can you help me with that?

Yeng: oh yeah! I almost forgot. Okay I'll help

May: You're the one who will...

Yeng: Who will what?? What I’m going to do? Hello!!!are you there??
Suddenly Yeng heard a loud sound coming from a motorcycle from the other line.

*Toot *toot *toot

Then the call suddenly ended and Yeng didn't understand the last words of May and May didn’t hear the
feedback of Yeng.

EXPLANATION:
They have a short conversation because they planning to surprise their friend which is Mia. They use
telephone to communicate to each other.

May is the sender, the message travel through the airwaves in the straight path going to receiver, where
Yeng is listening from the other line. Physical noise is the barrier why the conversation didn’t go well.
Yeng is the receiver. Yeng give feedback but May didn’t heard it.

So the transmission of the message is not successful because of the barriers. But if May will call again
and there is no barriers in their conversation then their communication will be effective.
