[Background of this setting]

A virtual store (VirtualStore) is a folder created by the Protect System feature in Windows 7 or later.

On Windows XP, administrators could write files under C: ¥Program Files or C: ¥Windows.

However, since Windows 7, it's basically impossible to write files to important folders like the ones above

even if you're an administrator. (Change requires promotion)

This is to prevent applications from inadvertently corrupting critical system files and damaging the OS.

If the write fails as described above (without (any) promotion), the OS writes to the following location on

behalf of the OS:.

C: ¥Users ¥<User Name> ¥AppData ¥Local ¥VirtualStore

The following symptoms occurred due to the above functions.

・Saved test conditions are not found.

・The system settings do not meet the set conditions.

・System settings cannot be read correctly when the software is started. error.

・Does not work properly when using multiple accounts.
