Work instruction of steps for drilling, water loss test and grouting

1 1st stage drilling and installation of slotted PVC casing (3000 mm fromsoil/ rock surface/founding level)

2 Water loss test - if < 3 lugeon - Proceed to Drill 3000-6000.

3 If > 3 lugeon - grout 0 mm to 3000 mm (Step-7). Wait for 12 hrs. Re drill up to 3000 mm and fresh drill from 3000 mm to 6000 mm

4 Water loss test for 3000 mm to 6000 mm section- if < 3 lugeon - Proceed to Drill 6000 mm-9000 mm.

5 If > 3 lugeon - grout 0 to 6000 mm (Step-7). Wait for 12 hrs. Re drill up to 6000 mm and fresh drill from 6000 mm to 9000 mm

6 Water loss test for 6000 mm to 9000 mm section- if < 3 lugeon - O.K.Plug the hole and stop.
if > 3 lugeon grout 0 to 9000 mm (Step-7). Wait for 12 hrs.

7 Grouting in case water loss > 3 lugeon - 1:10, 1:5, 1:3, 1:2, 1:1 CM in stages upto refusal (<2 ltr/min for 10 min.)
