CHAPTER 3

DEVELOPMENT OF THE STUDY

This chapter includes the Bills of the Program, Tools and Equipment

and it’s Uses Functions, Schematic Diagram, Construction Procedure,

Try- Out and Revision, and Construction Time Frame.

Total PHP 3,000.00

Table 1 shows the quantity, unit, item, description and cost of the

supplies used in the construction of the project. As the table above

shows, the total expenses for the project is worth of 3, 000.00 Php which

includes the internet connection and the android development tool.

16

Tools and Equipment

In this Table shows the tools and equipment, uses and functions

in creating the software application.

Table 2. Tools and Equipment

Tools and Equipment Uses and Functions

Computer -is an advanced electronic device

that takes raw data as input from the user and
processes these data under the control of set of
instructions (called program) and gives the result
(output) and saves output for the future use.

Android Phone - Android phone is a powerful,

high-tech smartphone that runs on the Android
operating system (OS) developed by Google
and is used by a variety of mobile phone
manufacturers.

Pocket Wi-Fi -Pocket injection also known as

forging packets or spoofing packets is a
computer networking term that refers to the
process of interfering with an established
network connection.

Figure 2. Process Diagram of the Cloud Class

Figure 2 illustrated the process diagram of the “Cloud Class”

Application in which the first step was to prepare the development application-

tools like android studio and adobe Photoshop. Second, to program a

programming codes to create the software for the Cloud Class Application’s

functionalities. Third, is to create the software’s visual design. Fourth, is to

test the quality and functionality of the application. Fifth, is to finalize the

running application to android phones. Then lastly, is the distribution of the

published packaged Application.

Construction Procedure

Picture 1. Installation of the Programming Tools

Step 1. In this picture it shows

the preparing of the application
and the tools software that
needs to develop a cloud class
project.

Android Studio application is

our main developing tool for
programming an android
application.

Picture 2. Programming of the Loading Screen

Step 2. In this picture it shows

how to program or encode the
text or the coding of the “Cloud
Class” to run.

These codes makes the

application’s loading screen run.
These are the codes for the
application’s home screen.

This is the finished

application loading screen
design.

Picture 4. First layer Codes of the Application

Step 3. In this picture it

shows the design of cloud
class project, coding
software application on first
layer.

Picture 5. Second layer Codes of the Application

Step 5 Shows the design

coding of the Software
application on second layer.

Picture 6. Programming of the Browser

Step 6. In this picture, it

shows the browser coding
and the coding of the
browser design.

Picture 7. Final Browser Design

Show the finished

design of the browser
features in Cloud Class
Application.

Step 5. In this figure, it shows

the coding of the Notepad and
the design coding.

Step 7. In this picture, shows

the finished product of our
Cloud Class application, coding
of the application home and the
home design coding.

Try - out and Revision

Try – out and revision shows the “Cloud Class” application on its

first three (3) testing trials.

Table 3. Repaired Bug Report

Starting application crashed Some code added Fixed

Table 2 shows the trial and error of the Cloud Class Application in

which the researchers have a hard time in doing the revision made for the

starting application due to the reason that the android application is not

compatible to a 2.0 operating system of an android. So, the revision was

made by adding some programming codes by upgrading the OS version

compatibility for Android devices.

26

Construction Time Frame

In this table, it shows the process and time frame of developing the

Android application program.

Table 4. Construction Time Frame

5 days,14 hours
Total no. hours of developing the application.
and 30 minutes

As shown in Table 4, in the developing of Cloud Class Application, the

overall time that the researchers complete the packaged of the application

was five (5) days, fourteen (14) hours and thirty (30) minutes in which the

researchers spent more time in upgrading the program of the android

operating system from the lowest OS version to the latest version of the

Android application.
