Please do understand that the actual practice is to calibrate the instruments at
the bigger graduations as I have marked in the raw data. That is why, I asked you
to copy them in the raw data sheet.

But due to limitation of instrument, you can calibrate them at any available point
to see if instrument is functional. That calibrated point is marked as “Calibrated
at”.

For example, the bigger graduations/markings in the P. gauge is 0,4,8, 12
and 16 kg/cm2. Ideally we should calibrate at those points. So, you have to
copy them in raw data.

But while actual calibration, it may happen that you are getting a quick
reading at 6 kg/cm2. Note that down as “calibrated at”. This will help us to
understand if instrument is functional.

Same logic is applicable for temperature gauge.
