An application for 30 days judicial custody remand of accused Umar Khalid has been moved on behalf of the 1.0. Heard. Perused. Application is allowed. Accordingly, accused Umar Khalid is remanded to judicial custody till 22.10.2020. Ld. Counsel for accused submits that accused may be allowed to take spectacles inside the jail. Ld. Special PP has no objection to the said prayer. Heard. Allowed. Ld. Counsel for accused submits that the safety and security of the accused may also be given priority. In view of the apprehension as stated by the counsel for accused, Jail Superintendent is directed to take all the necessary steps, within the rules, to ensure the safety and security of the accused Umar Khalid in jail. Ld. Counsel for accused and the accused has also raised certain requests for which they will move appropriate application.
