the following sections of this technology plan. When appropriate, copy and paste implementation
charts, budgets, or text from the Data Organizer to this document.
Vision
Kinder Kids International School will utilize innovative technology in order to eliminate borders
and bridge together a truly unique international experience for its learners.
Mission Statement
Our concept is to create an “International School for children growing up in Japan.” A school
that would enable them to acquire an international perspective and high level of English
education regardless of whether their parents are able to speak English. Our aim is to support
our children, educate them well, and help them to prepare for the international work place and
contribute with pride and confidence.
Goals
1. Classroom teachers will use video technology to communicate with Kinder Kids
International Schools located in Japan, Canada, and Hawaii.
2. KKIS will implement technology in the classroom that will allow classroom teachers to
reach students visually during craft and cooking lessons.
3. KKIS will monitor and update the technology in place based on the effectiveness of the
tools used.
Curriculum
The curriculum is designed to provide students with exposure to technology and practice using
it. They will know how to conduct simple research to find craft or cooking ideas. Teachers will
incorporate videos into the lesson time to help further explain key concepts. If and when these
students move abroad, they will have exposure to technology from the age of 3 years old and
will have developed reading comprehension in English.
Professional Development
Company meetings will be held in June, October, and February to introduce new technology,
evaluate the use of technology in place, and steps moving forward. Teachers will participate in
level meetings weekly to plan for the weeks ahead and brainstorm more hands-on approaches
with technology for both staff and students.
Technical support takes place in-house from a member of the School Management Team.
Networking will be outsourced through a third-party selected by Head Office.
