WRITTEN WORK 1
1. On this pandemic, where social gatherings and social interactions are minimal. Sports like
Volleyball and the same time, maintaining your health is hard to execute, yet, to attain personal
and community wellness amidst. There are still ways of how your thinking and actions be
modified to help you and your community attain wellness. Practicality speaking, here are the
following:
a. Keep Going. During this pandemic what we really need is to think the other side of the coin.
We may have face a thousand obstacles or depressing moments in life—keep going. Life is a gift
that we need to ponder. Life is beautiful. Life is a blessing. Sometimes, we think that this
pandemic is no more less than a dilemma from keeping your actions relatively incline. Instead,
think this as a wake-up call. Keep going from doing things like exercising, and meditating.
b. Exercise twice or thrice a week. To cope with the heavy stress that this pandemic and online
class has been giving. Exercising is the best way to release stress or to relieve yourself. Help
yourself to attain a healthy body.
c. Sleep 7-8 hours a day. Volleyball needs of a physique but, it needs enough rest to well-execute
every pre-Volleyball routine.
d. Create a list of all activities that you will do for the entire week. This is effective. On my side,
I have an application where you can list specifically the things you will do. Like for an example
for Monday, you will at least list all activities prior to Monday because this will keep yourself
productive and remember all things that you need to do. Sometimes, we forget something that
affects our productivity.
e. Relax or learn things that you want to learn. Example in volleyball, if you want to know how
to serve or spike. Try to watch tutorials in YouTube or read magazines.
f. Manage or spent your time well. Indeed, it is very hard to control time. Well, in that case, what
we need to do is to manage or create a time-management list where every activity has specific
time on it. This will help you to become productive in spending your time.

Our thinking and actions amidst this pandemic should be alter especially when we are doing such
sport activities. The way we handle ourselves and our environment may reverberate across the
community. Your actions indeed can change the action of others well, and your attitudes can
change the attitude of others. Try to be a sharer of positivity because our decisions on doing
things may affect if we are thinking negative things. Learn to adjust and cope with the current
situation. Change your perspective and be productive!
2. Honestly speaking, I am no sports-oriented person. Since then, I am really coping with the
sports especially volleyball. But, I really admire sports. For me, sports are important to people.
These play an important role to everyone. For the sport volleyball, I can use the game to remain
physically and mentally healthy since this game promotes people to become physically active
and fit. Aside from that, I will use this game to remain productive over the days of
unproductivity. I am also using this volleyball to inspire myself of being a healthy one.
3. There are many points that can prove volleyball as an influence on one’s lifelong health and
fitness status. We take an example of an Volleyball player. A player who is determine to exercise
enable to be prepared for his game. A player who is physically active is healthier than those who
do not. That’s a fact. Another thing, I have a friend and classmates who are volleyball players.
As I observed, they are really into the sports, and playing game as their routine. I think volleyball
really holds in their hearts especially for players. In addition to that, volleyball encourages
everyone to be physically fit not just to be physically active. The advantage is, what you have
done with yourself now can actually affect what other things that might happen. In other words,
your actions right now affect your future. If a volleyball player is eager with volleyball, then,
when time comes, the volleyball player will be more eager of the volleyball. Meaning, your
passion will lead you to your future self. Moreover, in the personal note, volleyball is influencing
me to become physically active. Like when I was first year college, our PE was swimming. I
don’t really know swimming but, thanks to the subject, I learned how to do it. It taught me the
importance of being a physically fit and healthy. It doesn’t only from that, I actually loved
swimming more than any sports. The same with volleyball, it encourages us to be healthy and to
be happy for ourselves, our family and our community.
4 I have a friend who doesn’t know swimming. Just like me when I am starting. I encourage him
to have a practice of swimming every Saturday with me. I taught him swimming and the good
news was, he passed the swimming subject. I really taught that my help won’t be big because I
am a novice in it. But, I think you can achieve self-development when you’re teaching it with
someone. In volleyball too, the technique be use. Our knowledge and skills of volleyball
shouldn’t keep from yourself. Learn to teach it, and you’ll see that you are not just giving but,
also you are learning. More like a give and take relationship. If I gain knowledge and skills
especially volleyball. I will not be hesitated to share it with others. The question now is where or
who? You can actually start using your knowledge and skills first, with yourself. Be an epitome
of an active lifestyle or be an influencer of healthy lifestyle on social medias. With me, I will try
my best to share any knowledge through social medias as long as it was valid, and truth. Since
we are in pandemic, we can use our knowledge and skills through teaching it to our family. You
are not just helping yourself to have a healthy lifestyle but, also you’re helping your family to
have too.
