So the name of our product is sweatvio, basically it’s a smart watch for a sports person.

The features of the watch are – it has all time related features like alarm, timer, etc. It can
help you find your smartphone if you are not able to find, so if u double press the button on
the watch the phone starts to buzz, it helps you be updated with the calls and notifications if
your phone is closeby, and mainly for what is it known for is the health and wellness features
which include Heart rate monitors, Pedometers, Physical activity trackers (for running,
swimming, cycling, etc.), Blood pressure monitors and Sleep monitors

The Problem
Even though smartwatches are able to provide you tonnes of data regarding your exercise and
fitness, many smartwatch tests shows that the data is not 100% accurate and not even 80%
sometimes. The steps calculator and heart rate sensors are not known for accuracy in a
smartwatch. Typically, smartwatches can only be used 1 to 2 days after a full charge. Some
don’t even last for one day, especially if you use power-hungry features. If you forgot to
charge it, you’ll end up having a dead watch the next day. Additionally, you won’t be able to
use some features like sleep tracking if your watch runs out of battery while you’re sleeping.

The Solution
The solutions we are gonna encounter is a better battery life, will give a better accuracy of
data, and it works when when the phone is not nearby.

And the watch will have ecological ramifications, which is for reducing our power usage and
battery consumption.

Tech

Sweat isn’t just water. It contains trace amounts of a wide variety of minerals and other
substances like glucose and lactate. These substances, called metabolites, are by-products of
the chemical processes that constantly go on inside humans

The tech works by collecting the sweat you naturally produce. This is done by “coating
polyester cellulose cloth in a thin layer of a special polymer”. The absorbency of the material
attracts perspiration. The ions in the sweat react with the polymer which results in a reaction
that generates electricity.

According to our research the battery can be charged with only 20 micro litres of fluid.

It’s also very sturdy and can survive several thousand flexes and bends it might encounter –
ideal for a wearable strapped to your wrist.

There also a solar energy compatibility which comes with Power Glass which is a transparent
solar charging lens that sits on top of the watch face. This converts the sun’s rays into energy
which adds an additional 10-15% battery life.
It is likely to work in India as in India its mostly humid in most of the places and sweat
generated is high and manoly when you wear a watch the area of that there is likely to have
sweat there.
