Despre proiect

Foreign languages are an important part of the programs of language and literature subjects,
but, sometimes, teachers have some problems in motivating their students. Beyond that,
speaking foreign languages also allows the improvement of speaking and listening skills and
personal, creative and critical expression. Teachers always make an effort to make their students
understand that learning is never a waste of time and it improves our intellectual abilities.
So, we are going to develop interesting and simple activities to motivate students to improve
their skills in foreign languages and in ICT, through collaborative and amusing activities.
OBIECTIVE
-The main aim of this project is to motivate students for studying foreign languages;
-To learn/ practice/ or improve their English/ French/ Portuguese/ German/ Italian…;
-To experience different teaching methods;
-To enjoy studying grammar and vocabulary in a foreign language;
-To provide the opportunity for the students to gain life, communication and social skills;
-To enable the students to use digital tools to improve their knowledge;
-To enable students to communicate with students from other countries/ languages;
- Develop both written and spoken communication skills in foreign language(s);
- Enhance pupils ICT skills within a collaborative project;
- Learn how to express themselves through different types of media – web and graphic design,
digital photography, video storytelling, etc;
PROCEDURĂ DE LUCRU
At the beginning of the project, the partners will fill, in a Google Doc, the project plan, chose a
title for the project and decide what kind of content will be produced and the digital tools
necessaries, like Kahoot, Powerpoint, Padlet, Socrative,Edpuzzle, LearningApps, etc. Then, the
teachers will introduce themselves in Twinspace, using the Twinboard, with photos and/ or
vídeos. Then, using Twinboard or a tool like Padlet or Google Slides, students involved will
present themselves in a foreign language. In order to respect safety in the internet, pupils will
create an avatar using Dollify, Bitmoji or other tools. The activities will be developed from
September to May, about grammar (personal pronouns, regular and irregular verbs, adjectives,
etc) and vocabulary (family, food, sports, house, etc). Pupils are asked to produce collaborative
content using different media in order to explore foreign languages or to share with others their
own language. We'll also celebrate some days.
R E Z U L T A T E P R E C O N I Z A TE
We hope that students increase their several skills in foreign languages and in ICT and to create
new friends from other countires and languages.
At the end of the year, we may form mixed student groups from different schools for each
language while creating the final product: the multilingual dictionary.
We can organize a “languages week” in the end of the year, and give a leçon, 15 or 20 mn, or
more, in some classes, about a different language that is not taught at school.
We'll share every activities and content in twinspace.
