market in automotive servicing (TLE_EM7-12-00-2)

Concepts:
In generating business idea, you should first identify what type of business is
suited to your business idea. You should analyze and scan the potential
environment, study the marketing practices and strategies of your competitors,
analyze the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and the Threats in your
environment to ensure that the products/goods and services you are planning to
offer will be patronized within the easy reach by your target markets/consumers. This
process is called SWOT analysis.
A SWOT analysis is a strategic planning tool created by Albert
Humphrey to evaluate the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and
Threats involved in a project or business venture. It involves specifying the
objective and then identifying the internal and external factors that are
favorable and unfavorable to achieve that objective.

Mr. Rodrigo Fajardo is planning to put up a motorcycle customization shop


which will be specializing on café racers and scramblers, two types of motorcycle
that are gaining popularity today. Before starting the business, he wants to know if it
is a good idea and will have a high probability of success. In this regard, he needs
your help in doing a SWOT analysis for his business idea.

Directions: Help Mr. Fajardo conduct a SWOT analysis for his business idea. Written
