Subject: Testing of Environmental Quality Parameters

Dear Mr. Ali Haider

As per requirement of EPA in the conditional approval, we need to conduct tests on the following
parameters for all the construction sections. They are necessary for compliance with National
Environmental Quality Standards (NEQS) of Pakistan and for monthly Environmental monitoring report.

1) Noise Level

2) Ambient Air Quality

 Particulate Matter  Oxides of Nitrogen
 Oxides of Sulphur  Carbon Monoxide
3) Wastewater:
 pH  Chemical Oxygen Demand
 Biological Oxygen Demand (COD)
(BOD)  Total Dissolved Solids (TDS)
 Total Suspended Solids (TSS)
4) Drinking Water:
 Temperature  Turbidity
 pH  Hardness
 Colour  Fecal Coliform
 Odour  Total Dissolved Solids (TDS)
 Taste  Sulphate
