Career is an important aspect of any person’s life.

It determines the kind of lifestyle one

will lead and his/her position in the society. While everyone dreams of a good lifestyle, not
everyone is able to build a strong career that can ensure the same. As a pursuer of goals and
dreams in life, I am eager to be a successful woman in the future. Taking into account the career
I will choose to continue my journey, I am taking up Bachelor of Science in Nursing and
hopefully, if it is in God’s will, I’d be grateful to become a Doctor. I am passionate to get this
degree years from now because I can’t see myself working in other places rather than a hospital
seeing that I am suitable giving my service to the patients. In my case, most of my relatives
graduated with a medical degree and seeing them wearing scrub suit and smack gown made me
felt inspired to be one of them. In addition, practicality is one thing that we must consider today.
I will not be having a hard time giving my application forms and get interviewed to hospitals I
am planning to take in or work abroad because I have connections. Another thing is I think I am
capable. In which I have the skills and abilities to perform the tasks and performance given. I am
open to learn and experience new things as I walk my path to success. I would rather be
competent and driven for whatever life throws at me. Failure is just nothing compared to the
success that is coming. Furthermore, working towards obtaining career satisfaction helps a
person realize her or his fullest potential by virtue of taking on the toughest of challenges and
dreaming the biggest of dreams. Indeed, with the right kind of mind-set the sky can well prove to
be the limit for an individual's personal and professional aspirations. We have different
perspective of what career is but I will just leave it with a quote “As long as you’ve got the
passion, faith, and are willing to work hard you can do anything and have anything you want in
this world.”

I have always been passionate about lending help to others. I have this burning desire
inside me that knocks me off my feet demanding to make people feel that they are safe and taken
a good care of at their most crucial times. Something about my inner psyche tells me that it is
few of the many good things you can do as a human being. Since I was young, I have always
looked up to people who save lives which made me want to become one. There’s something
about deliverance that makes me genuinely happy and at peace whenever I get to aid someone,
be it physically or emotionally. My subconscious becomes fueled with contentment and bliss. I
have always put to consideration the family I am in. My aunt and uncle have been nurses ever
since and never in my life have I neglected the thought of myself, becoming someone just like
them. It is always nice to have people you can hold on high regard to. Besides, I aspire to make
my mom pleased and of course, proud. Life is the most precious gift we have ever received from
God up above. It is a cardinal virtue to value it and take good care of it as much. That is why,
having the ability to do so, it is my choice to choose and follow this dream of mine regardless
what other people would say. Because in the end, what matters most is how well you lived and
how well you loved the people around you. That is something contagious to the human nature.

People dream to become successful when the right time comes and there is no single
person who does not. I am a person who is ambitious. I want my life to be as prosperous as it can
be. All of us are given a chance to dream and it is never wrong to do that. Dreaming is something
that can motivate and inspire us to do better. It is one of the things that is free and does not
require any payment at all. At my age today, when we talk about our future, our course in college
really does go along with it. When you think about it, college really seems to be our first step to
achieve our long term goals.

Some people my age have no idea about what are they taking up for college, I on the
other hand, already thought about it. Ever since I was in high school, I've always wanted to
become an Architect. Architecture fits my passion for arts and my love for mathematics. I am
astonished by how architects turn their imaginations into reality and I am excited to do the same
thing in the future. When I was in 7th grade, I discovered my talent in arts and I suddenly
became passionate on it. Every time I go around and ask somebody if it’s okay for me to take
architecture as my degree program, they always say that it fits me and that I can become one
someday but going along with that positive comment is a negative one. People often say that
Architecture is not that in demand nowadays, they always say that it is one of the course that do
not have any value at all, that you cannot get a job easily and it would be hard to earn money
with it. Well, in fact, whatever your profession is, it would really be hard if you won’t strive that
diligently. They tend to belittle architecture and it kinda affects me. They don’t see the true value
of it, can they imagine what the world would look like without architectures? I don’t know why
but my heart really loves architecture and I am really hoping and praying that I could become
one in God's will.

How did I decide to study Architecture? It’s simple. I know myself better than others,
what I can and will be able to do in the future, what my skills are, and how eager I am to do what
I want and what I love. I know that I am good in arts and quite good in Mathematics. Because of
those qualifications, it made me choose what course I should take that is appropriate for me. I am
well informed that the course that I am going to take will be something that is very challenging.
As I have observed, studying architecture is tiring, draining and hard. I have to be ready for all
those sleepless nights and hard work.

Studying is never easy. Who would say it’s not, right? It will require us a lot of time and effort.
Not only that, but also some of our freedom. For people who do not know how to balance their
life, it would be difficult, because you might just end up locking yourself in a room while
studying and focusing too much on your goal. It is not required for us to study that much to the
point that we only put our lives on it. Life isn't just about those academic things. But Im not
saying that students should put that aside, what Im trying to convey is that, we should learn how
to balance things out. Balancing is the key. We should also always bear in mind that before we
succeed, hindrances and struggles are always there, bringing us down and pulling us away from
our goal. But I want people to know and remember that the greater the pull back the higher the
come back.
