1. What type of change process would you call this? Explain.


The type of change process is Transitional Change. Transitional change refers to

challenging old practices in the business and replacing them with new ones. In the case of

General Electric, they create solutions and new ideas to come together with the right people

which are brought by using business objectives significantly. This process is implemented in 90

days and approved which helps to build cooperation.

2. Why should it work?

As mentioned above, this process helps to build cooperation and helps to increase esprit

to be perfection, growth with the value of instilling and to share the knowledge within the

organization.

3. What negative consequences do you think it might result from this process?

The process might not have a better result as they should be which turns out to be a

negative consequence as the decisions and recommendations are made on the spot in the meeting

and some might not be as potential and reckon as they should be. The higher level or any level is

doing the choices and decisions in hurry which cause to make quick decision and leading to get a

negative result.

4. Why do you think new GE CEO Jeff Immelt has revised the Work-Out concept?

The revised Work-Out concept has been enlarged to call up to continue the planning, to

count on prospective high tech and other matter. There might be a varied tip by involving in

town hall meetings if we taking into consideration.
