 On Saturday morning

my mum and I

went to the shopping centre

to buy new shoes for school!

Fi rst we went to the shoe store and

tried on some shoes.
Next we chose the shoes I wanted
and paid for them.

Finally we went to a café for l unch.

I had fun shopping. I l ove my new

shoes.
 On Sunday morning

my family and I

went to the beach

to go swi mming!

Fi rst we put our sunscreen on and

went swi mming.
Next we built castles in the sand.

Finally we got ice cream and went

home.
I had a great ti me swi mming at the
beach with my family!
 On Saturday afternoon

my family and our friends

had a BBQ at home

to celebrate Dad’s bi rthday!

Fi rst our friends came over to our

house.
Next we cooked the BBQ and ate
dinner outside.

Finally we sang ‘Happy Bi rthday’ and

ate cake!
I had a wonder ful ti me celebrating
Dad’s special day.
 On the weekend

my family and I

stayed at home

and had a movie night!

Fi rst we took our pill ows and

blankets into the family room.
Next we got snacks and popped
some popcorn.

Finally we all laid down together and

watched the movie.
I had a l ovely, relaxing ti me with my
family.
 Yesterday

my class and I

went to Annie’s house

for her 6th bi rthday party!

Fi rst we played some g ames.

Then Annie opened her presents.

Finally we sang ‘Happy Bi rthday’ to

Annie and ate chocolate cake.
I had so much fun at Annie’s party! I
can’t wait until she turns 7!
 On the school holidays

to see all the di fferent ani mals!

Fi rst we walked around and l ooked

at all of the ani mals.
Then we sat on the grass and had a
picnic for l unch.

Finally we visited the gi ft shop and I

got a book about ani mals!
I had a great day! My favourite part was
seeing the lions!
