INTRODUCTION
V-Smart School is a one-stop teaching and learning platform that supports self-paced, teacher-paced,
asynchronous, and synchronous formal education online.
In V-Smart School, students will attend daily online classes and access Vibal’s DepEd-aligned digital curriculum
from preschool to senior high school, across all subjects. With the guidance of parents and teachers, students
learning from their homes during class suspensions or cancellations will follow DepEd’s recommended day-to-day
lesson calendar for an entire school year.
Teachers using V-Smart School can schedule and follow their students’ progression through the classes and will
also have access to Vibal’s test bank and lesson plan repository mapped to the curriculum. Teachers can also live
stream or conduct online classes securely from the platform.
V-Smart School provides both teachers and learners future-proof learning opportunities that go beyond the
traditional classroom experience.

ACCESSING AND LOGGING IN TO VSMART SCHOOL
1. Open a web browser (Recommended browser is Google Chrome).

2. Type school.vsmart.ph in the Search Bar of the browser.
3. Hit the enter button to load the VSmart School page.
4. Upon successful loading of the VSmart School page, click the Log In button.
5. Type in your username in the Username field (item A in the picture).
6. Type in your password in the Password field (item B in the picture).
7. Click the Sign In button (item C in the picture).
8. Upon successful validation of user credentials, you will be redirected to the home page.
9. To request for a reset password link, click the Forgot Password button (item D in the picture).

1. To view the menu items, move the cursor over your Profile Name (item A in the picture).
2. To view VSmart School’s FAQs, click on your desired Guide (item B in the picture).
2.1 To view the Student FAQs, click the Student Guide link.

3. To view the Available Categories per Grade Level, click on your desired Grade Level (item C in the picture).
3.1 To view the Available Categories in Pre-school, click the Pre-school Grade Level.
3.2 To view the Available Categories in Grade 1-3, click the Grade 1-3 Grade Level.
3.5 To view the Available Categories in Senior High School, click the Senior High School Grade Level.
3.6 To view the Available Categories in Higher Education, click the Higher Education Grade Level.
4. To view the About Us, Support, and Terms and Conditions pages, click on your desired page (item D in the
picture).
4.1 To view the About Us page, click the About Us link.
4.2 To view the Support page, click the Support link.
4.3 To view the Terms and Conditions page, click the Terms and Conditions link.
5. To view Vibal Group’s Social Media pages, click on your desired Social Media icon (item E in the picture).

6. To view the Available Lessons for Pre-school, select your desired Grading Period (item F in the picture).
6.1 To view the Available Lessons for First Quarter, click the First Quarter Grading Period.
6.2 To view the Available Lessons for Second Quarter, click the Second Quarter Grading Period.
6.3 To view the Available Lessons for Third Quarter, click the Third Quarter Grading Period.
6.4 To view the Available Lessons for Fourth Quarter, click the Fourth Quarter Grading Period.

7. To view the Available Lessons under Grades 1-10, select your desired Subject and Grade Level (item G in the
picture).

9.3 To view the Available Lessons under the Sports Track, click the Sports Track.

ENROLLING IN A LESSON
1. Go to the Lesson Details (refer to Navigating in VSmart School, pages 8-13).

2. To view the Lesson Details, click on your desired Lesson Detail (item A in the picture).
2.1 To view the Lesson Description, click on the Lesson Description tab.
2.2 To view the Lesson Objectives, click on the Lesson Objectives tab.
2.3 To view the Lesson Outline, click on the Lesson Outline tab.
2.4 To view the Webinar/Live Stream Schedules of the Lesson, click on the Webinar/Live Stream
(Schedule) tab.
3. To enroll in the Lesson, click the Enroll Now button (item B in the picture).

NAVIGATING IN YOUR ENROLLED LESSONS
1. Go to your Enrolled Lessons (refer to Navigating in VSmart School, page 13).

2. To view your Lessons click your desired tab (item A in the picture).
2.1 To go to your Ongoing Lessons, click the Ongoing tab.
2.2 To go to your Taken Lessons, click the Taken tab.
3. To go to the Lesson Dashboard, click your desired Lesson card (item B in the picture).
3.1 To view your Lesson Progress, refer to the Lesson Progress Bar (item C in the picture).
4. To search for a Lesson, type in a search keyword in the Search Lesson field (item D in the picture) and then hit
the enter key.
5. To toggle the Enrolled Lessons view, click your desired view type (item E in the picture).
5.1 To select the List View, click the List View button.
5.2 To select the Grid View, click the Grid View button.

NAVIGATING IN THE LESSON DASHBOARD
1. Go to the Lesson Dashboard (refer to Navigating in Your Enrolled Lessons, page 15).
2. To view the Lesson Details, click on your desired Lesson Detail (item A in the picture).
2.1 To view the Lesson Description, click on the Lesson Description tab.
2.2 To view the Lesson Objectives, click on the Lesson Objectives tab.
2.3 To view the Lesson Outline, click on the Lesson Outline tab.
2.4 To view the Webinar/Live Stream Schedules of the Lesson, click on the Webinar/Live Stream
(Schedule) tab.
3. To view your Lesson Progress, refer to the Lesson Progress Bar (item B in the picture).
4. To start/resume the Lesson, click the Start/Resume Lesson button (item C in the picture).
5. To send a message to your Class, click the Send Message button (item D in the picture).

SENDING A MESSAGE TO YOUR CLASS
1. Go to the Lesson Messages (refer to Navigating in the Lesson Dashboard, page 13 or page 16).
2. To view a Lesson’s Messages, click a Lesson (item A in the picture) in the Lessons List.
3. To search for a Lesson, type in a search keyword in the Search Lesson field (item B in the picture) and then hit
the enter key.
4. To send a Message, type in your message in the Message field (item C in the picture) and then hit the enter
key.
5. To go to the Lesson Dashboard, click the View Lesson button (item D in the picture).

NAVIGATING IN THE LESSON PLAYER
1. Go to the Lesson Player (refer to Navigating in Your Enrolled Lessons, page 15 and Navigating in the Lesson
Dashboard, page 16).
2. To navigate in between the modules/lectures/assessments, click your desired module/lecture/assessment in
the Lesson Player Navigation (item A in the picture).
3. To close the Lesson Video, click the Close Video button (item B in the picture).
3.1 To re-open the Lesson Video, click the Show Lesson Video button (will be displayed once Lesson
Video is closed).
4. To go back to the Lesson Dashboard, click the Go to Dashboard button (item C in the picture).

5. To mark a lecture as complete, click the Mark as Complete button (item D in the picture).
6. To go to the next lesson, click the Next button (item E in the picture).
Note: The Next button will appear depending on the Lesson Pace set in the Lesson. If Sequential Pace is set, you
should complete the module/sub-module before you will be able to proceed to the next module/sub-module, the
Next button will only be displayed if the current module/sub-module is completed. If Self-paced is set, the Next
button will be displayed even if you haven’t completed the module/sub-module.

7. To start an assessment, click the Start button in the Assessment.

8. Answer the questions in the assessment (item G in the picture).
9. To submit the assessment, click the Submit button (item H in the picture).
Note: The question type in the assessment varies depending on the question type set by the Teacher/Admin.

2. To submit an output, click the Submit Output button.

2.1 To select a file to upload, click or drag a file to the File Uploader (item I in the picture).
2.2 To input notes on your output, type in your notes in the Notes field (item J in the picture).
2.3 To submit your output, click the Submit button (item K in the picture).
2.4 To cancel your output submission, click the Cancel button (item L in the picture).

JOINING IN A WEBINAR
1. Go to the Webinar/Live Stream (Schedule) tab (refer to Navigating in the Lesson Dashboard, page 16).
2. To join in a Webinar session, click the Join button (item A in the picture) and then the Webinar will open in a
new tab.

NAVIGATING IN A WEBINAR
1. Join in a Webinar (refer to Joining in a Webinar, page 22).

2. To interact with other participants, click on your desired mode of interaction (item A in the picture).
2.1 To share your screen, click the Share Screen icon.
2.2 To raise/lower your hand, click the Hand icon.
2.3 To send a message to other participants, click the Messages icon.
3. To control your microphone, video and leave the webinar, click on your desired action (item B in the picture).
3.1 To mute/unmute your microphone, click on the Microphone icon.
3.2 To leave the Webinar, click the End Call icon.
3.3 To enable/disable your video, click the Video icon.
4. To control the Webinar settings, click on your desired setting (item C in the picture).
4.1 To toggle the Webinar view, click on the Tile icon.
4.2 To view the Other Actions, click the Other Actions icon.
5. To hide the other participants’ thumbnails, click on the Hide Participants button (item E in the picture).
6. To view the participants’ connection status, move the cursor over to the Participant Thumbnail (item D in the
picture).

SHARING YOUR SCREEN IN A WEBINAR

2. Click the Share Screen button (item A in the picture) and then a pop-up will be displayed.
3. To select which screen to share, click on your desired screen sharing option (item B in the picture).
3.1 To share your entire screen, click on the Your Entire Screen option and then select the screen you
want to share.
3.2 To share an application window, click on the Application Window option and then select the
application window you want to share.
3.3 To share a Google Chrome tab, click on the Chrome Tab option and then select the Chrome tab you
want to share.
4. To proceed in sharing your screen, click the Share button (item C in the picture).
5. To cancel screen sharing, click the Cancel button (item D in the picture).
6. To stop screen sharing, click the Stop button (will be displayed once screen is shared).

2. Click the Messages button (item A in the picture) and then the Webinar messages will be displayed.
3. To send a message, type in your desired message in the Message field (item B in the picture) and then hit the
enter key.
4. To send an emoji, click the Emoji button (item C in the picture) and then the available emojis will appear.
4.1 Select your desired emoji and then hit the enter key.
5. To close the messages, click the Close button (item D in the picture).

2. Click the Other Actions button and then the Other Actions list will be displayed.
3. To go to the Manage Video Quality Setting, click the Manage Video Quality menu item (item A in the picture).
4. To view the Webinar in full screen, click the View Full Screen menu item (item B in the picture).
5. To share a YouTube video, click the Share a YouTube video menu item (item C in the picture).
6. To go to the Webinar Settings, click the Settings menu item (item D in the picture).
7. To view the Speaker Statistics, click the Speaker Stats menu item (item E in the picture).
8. To view the Webinar Keyboard Shortcuts, click the View Shortcuts menu item (item F in the picture).

MANAGING WEBINAR VIDEO QUALITY

2. Go to the Manage Video Quality Setting (refer to Accessing Other Webinar Actions, page 26).
3. To adjust your Video Quality Setting, click on your desired Video Quality Setting (item A in the picture).
3.1 To select the Low Bandwidth Setting, click the Low Bandwidth Setting.
3.2 To select the Low Definition Setting, click the Low Definition Setting.
3.3 To select the Standard Definition Setting, click the Standard Definition Setting.
3.4 To select the High Definition Setting, click the High Definition Setting.
4. To set your selected Video Quality, click the Done button (item B in the picture).

SHARING A YOUTUBE VIDEO IN A WEBINAR

2. Click Share a YouTube Video in the Other Actions (refer to Accessing Other Webinar Actions, page 26).
3. Input or paste the YouTube Video link in the Link field (item A in the picture).
4. To share the YouTube Video, click the Share button (item B in the picture).
5. To cancel the sharing of a YouTube Video, click the Cancel button (item C in the picture).
6. To stop sharing the YouTube Video, click the Stop button (will be displayed once screen is shared).

ACCESSING WEBINAR SETTINGS

2. Click Settings in the Other Actions (refer to Accessing Other Webinar Actions, page 26).
3. To select the Device Settings, click the Devices tab (item A in the picture).
4. To choose a camera to use, click the Camera dropdown (item B in the picture) and select your desired camera.
5. To choose a Microphone to use, click the Microphone dropdown (item C in the picture) and select your
desired microphone.
6. To choose an Audio Output, click the Audio Output dropdown (item D in the picture) and select your desired
audio output.
6. 1 To play a test sound, click the Play a Test Sound button (item E in the picture).
7. To save your changes, click the Ok button (item F in the picture).
8. To cancel saving of your changes, click the Cancel button (item G in the picture).

VIEWING YOUR PROFILE

2. To upload/change your Profile Image, click on the Upload Profile Image button (item A in the picture) and then
select an image from the file browser.

CHANGING YOUR PASSWORD
1. To change your Password, click the Change Password button (refer to Viewing Your Profile, page 30).
1.1 Input your current Password in the Current Password field (item A in the picture).
1.2 Input your new Password in the New Password field (item B in the picture).
1.3 Re-input your new Password in the Confirm New Password field (item C in the picture).
1.4 To proceed in changing your Password, click the Save button (item D in the picture).
1.5 To cancel changing your Password, click the Cancel button (item E in the picture).
