Please note:
· If your account is in arrears, you will not receive a certificate during the graduation ceremony and your academic
record will be blocked and no certificate verification will be done. Please phone Student Accounts at 086 110
2421 to get the outstanding amount.
· You may receive your certificate during the ceremony if your account reflects as ‘paid-up’ by:
- 6 March for April/May 2020 Graduation ceremonies
- 11 September for October 2020 Graduation ceremonies
- Otherwise, you may collect your certificate from the Certification Management Office, Building 21-G13,
Pretoria Campus, if your account is settled later than the dates above. (Otherwise, bring stamped fees
statement to the ceremony).
· You need to inform us if you will not be attending your graduation ceremony before:
- 31 March for April/May 2020 Graduation ceremonies
- 5 October for October 2020 Graduation ceremonies
- Note that a fee of R357 will be payable if you are absent without informing us.
· Maximum number of guests: (NO extra guest cards and NO tickets for sale)
- All other qualifications – three (3) guests per candidate
- Magister Technologiae – seven (7) guests per candidate
- Doctor Technologiae – 10 guests per candidate
· You must be seated 30 minutes before the ceremony starts.
· NO late comers (STUDENTS OR GUESTS) will be allowed to enter the hall once the ceremony has started,
guest’s cards will not be replaced if lost or stolen and NO one will be allowed to leave the hall before the end of
the ceremony
· NO dancing on the stage, NO flags allowed on the stage and NO hand-held accessories
· NO children (under the age of 7) allowed.
