Respected Sir/ Madam,

Greetings from The Little Kingdom Senior School, Theni. We would like to inform
you that the CISCE Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry Regional Table Tennis event is being hosted by
TheLittle Kingdom Senior School. The event will be conducted at Himalaya Table Tennis
Academy, Theni on Saturday6thand Sunday 7thAugust 2022 for all categories.

ELIGIBILITY

1. Age & Status


(a) Sub Juniors (Under 14) – Girls and Boys born on or after 01-01-2006 and not
studying below 6th standard.

(b) Juniors (Under 17) – Girls and Boys born on or after 01-01-2003 and studying in class
12thor below but not studying below 6th standard.

(c) Seniors (Under 19) – Girls and Boys born on or after 01-01-2001 and studying in 12th
or below but not studying below 6th standard.

2. Eligibility:

Participants must be bonafide students of CISCE affiliated schools.

3. Documents for Registration:

a) Three sets of Eligibility forms duly completed andsigned by the Principal of the
concerned school.
b) Photocopy of Aadhar card (Passport copy in case ofoverseas students)
c) Photo copy of the Mark-sheet/Report Card of theprevious class attended duly attested
by the Principal.
d) Photo copy of Birth certificate issued by the competentauthority of the State/Central
Government attested by aGazetted officer.
e) Any participant who does not have all the documents asmentioned above will not be
allowed to participate in theCISCE games.
f) All entry forms must be duly filled and signed by the Principal of the respective school
along with the identification documents attested by the Principal. Participants must
carry their Aadhar Card on the day of the event. They will not be allowed to participate
in the event if they do not produce the required identification.
4. Aplayer of the lower age category may compete in the seniorage category under the
following conditions:

(a) Such a player cannot participate in two categories of thesame discipline.

(b) Such a player may participate in one discipline in one category and in another discipline
in another category.

(c) However any one player can participate in maximum three games/discipline.

5. General Rules and Guidelines

1. The final entries for each event must reach the host school 7 days before the
tournament.

2. The participants / teams must report and depart as per theschedule of the events. The
travel details must be informedto the host well in advance for suitable arrangements.
Earlyarrivals or delayed departures must be avoided, as theseshall not be the
responsibility of the host school.

3. Parents of the participants are not allowed as escortingofficials; neither will they be
permitted to enter the venue except in the capacity of a spectator. Any
parent/Guardianmisbehaving during the event will not be allowed to enter thevenue for
that day. Strict action will be initiated against theparticipating student, whose parent is
found tomisbehave/create problem at the venue.

4. Only school officials willbe permitted to act on behalf of the participants.

5. The decision of the officials / judges / referees / umpires atany eventis final and will be
binding on all the participants.

6. The Code of conduct must be strictly complied by all officialsaccompanying the


students.

7. In case of disputes / misconduct, the team players are liableto be debarred / suspended
from all future events.

8. Strict action will be taken against Coach/Manager


usingabusive/unparliamentarylanguage. Written complaint to beforwarded by the
Observer to the Council.

9. Decisions of the officials are final and irrevocable. Protests if any, must be formally
written and submitted to the jury of appeal within 30 minutes of the official
announcement of results with an appeal fee of Rs.1,000 (Non-Refundable).
CISCE TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

• List of entries should reach the school by 31stJuly 2022. Late entries and spot entries will
not be entertained.
Registration Fee:
o Rs. 500 per school per category.
o Rs. 800 per student for individual registration.

• The above fee should be paid in the form of a DD drawn in favour of ‘The Little Kingdom
Educational Trust’ payable at Theni and sent along with the completed forms.
• Lunch and snacks will be provided to all participants on both days (Vegetarian only).
• Participating schools are requested to arrange for their accommodation.
• School official escorts (2 members) are exempted from any registration charges. They
need to pay for their lunch.
• All fixtures will be sent to the respective participating schools before August 5, 2022.
• Kindly send all forms along with the Demand Draft to the address given below. Scanned
copies can be sent to head@tn063cisce.org.
• All teams should report by 8:00 AM on 6thAugust 2022 to the venue.

CISCE TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT RULES AND EVENT FORMAT

1. The event will be conducted as per the format prescribed by the CISCE National Sports and
Games.

2. The tournament will be conducted as per the latest rules and regulations of the TTFI/ITTF.

3. Event format:

Singles League Cum Knock Out Tournament

• A maximum of five entries will be allowed per school per category.


• The tournament will be played on a league cum knock out format.
• The match format will be best of 3 sets at U14 level and best of 5 sets at U17 and U19
level respectively.
• A set is won by the player who is the first to score 11 points. In the event of both players
scoring 10 points each, a set is won by the player who gains a 2-point advantage. A full
match is won by the player who leads the best of 3 sets or best of 5 sets based on their
category.
• The top 5 players from the knockout event will represent Tamilnadu in the CISCE
National Table Tennis Tournament.

4. Appropriate clothing must be worn by all participants (T-shirt’s, Shorts and Shoes).White
T-Shirts are not allowed. Participants will not be allowed to play without proper clothing.
5. The fixtures will be finalized during a team manager meeting on August 4th, 2022. Details
of the same will be sent to participating schools after closure of entries.
6. Kindly bring your own equipment. 3 Star 40+ mm balls will be provided at the
tournament.
