Santorini is one of those destinations that, once I see the pictures of those white-

washed buildings located in the hills of Greece, immediately make me fall in love.
This is a dream destination for me. The beauty of this place is unmatched and
there are also many things that can be done here. Santorini is the kind of place
where it is very easy to be swept away by its charm, and that is a good thing that
makes me want to visit this amazing island.

One of the reasons why Santorini is my dream destination is because of the

uniqueness of the place to stay. When I was there I wanted to stay in 'yposkafo'.
These small cave houses were once built for the poor in Santorini, but are now
becoming very popular as accommodation. Many locals use this fact and have
modified their ‘yposkafo’ to make it a luxury accommodation for visitors. In
addition, it also gives a special experience while in Sanotrini.

Moreover, the local cuisine in Santorini also attracted my interest to visit the
island. Because the city of Santorini is located on volcanic soil, it is rich in
nutrients and produces the most delicious results. There is a restaurant serving
some authentic local cuisine made from local produce, for example
Domatokeftethes which is Santorini Tomato Fritters. The Greek island is famous
for its variety of tomatoes that grow elsewhere in the world. So it is not
surprising that this food becomes the main food when it comes to Santorini.

In addition, here the ocean is clear, making it one of the best places to dive in this
part of the world. The clean and blue sea conditions make it easy for me to
explore the seabed of this island. It is ideal for doing activities such as scuba
diving. Finally, one of the best things to do in Santorini is to watch the sunset. As
well as seeing the washed-out white buildings turn a beautiful golden color, with
a touch of pink from the setting sun. Oia Palace is one of the best places to see
the sunset in Santorini.

In this dream vacation destination, I want to visit it with family and friends. This
place is the most beautiful place for me and can be a dream vacation destination
for many others, besides me. This place is also almost free from crime which
makes me feel safe to come here and it is also a place that is able to relieve my
stress, when enjoying the beauty of nature here.
