Course Summary
The International Diversity Workshop takes place during Orientation and focuses on the
diversity of the class and the opportunities and challenges this can offer students. The
workshop is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the diversity of the MBA class. The
session will help you understand and will support the ongoing experience of successfully
working in an internationally diverse environment.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of the workshop you will be able to:

• Understand the concept of unconscious bias and its potential impact on professional
interactions and commercial success

•Take steps to reduce effects of bias on individuals and in business

• More confidently engage with the diversity you will encounter day to day

• Apply some simple tools to facilitate successful working within a diverse group

• Appreciate attitudes and approaches that are different to your own, and discuss how
these can contribute to team performance
