SIMPLE PAST TENSE


What are its key words?

Yesterday: ayer
The day before yesterday: antes de ayer

Last night: anoche


Last week: la semana pasada A night ago: hace una noche

➢ The verb “Be” has a different conjugation in every form.


➢ The verb in past is ONLY necessary in affirmative form.
➢ In Negative and interrogative forms we require the auxiliary “Did”
(in questions) “did not” or “didn’t” (in negative) to indicate the
past tense.
➢ In negative and interrogative sentences, the verbs are always in
infinitive form…. NEVER in past form.
